The New Richmond Exempted Village School District is thrilled to announce the district’s inclusion in the 2024 Appalachian Community Innovation Centers grant program.

A total of 84 applications were received from 28 counties across the state of Ohio. Of 84 total applications, 11 received funding from this grant. NREVSD was awarded $711,000 and was the only district in Clermont County to receive this grant

“We are very excited about what this grant could mean to our kids and our community,” Superintendent Tracey Miller said. “Mr. John Frye should get a tremendous amount of credit for spearheading this grant process. New Richmond students and the community as a whole are going to greatly benefit from these funds.”

The grant was awarded to projects that best support initiatives in three key areas: K-12 education, workforce development and healthcare.

The district and Mr. Miller will soon share more details about how the grant is to be used in the coming days. The NREVSD Board of Education is expected to consider acceptance of the grant at the July 15 board meeting.
