The New Richmond Exempted Village School District Communication Department stands as the primary source of communication for the district, ensuring that families, residents and the media receive timely and accurate information.

The goal of the department is to provide a platform to promote the positive stories throughout the district.

The New Richmond Exempted Village School District enthusiastically welcomes all members of the media into the district. Please take note of the following guidelines for photography and interviews:

All public records requests are to be submitted to the NREVSD Treasurer's Office. More information on submitting a request can be found here.

Some NREVSD students have chosen to not be photographed. The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) allows parents and students the opportunity to opt out of the release of certain information, including photographs. NREVSD takes the safety privacy of our staff and students very seriously and will abide by all rules and regulations set forth by FERPA. Prior to taking any photos or videos of students, or before any interview with a student, please make sure to contact our communications department.

Should hazardous weather conditions arise, the district will communicate any schedule changes through a variety of sources, including:

• Local television/media outlets

• District social media outlets

• Texts/Phone calls to parents
