To our community: Earlier today, there was an incident in a hallway at New Richmond High School involving a student and our student resource officer. The situation was quickly resolved but the building was placed on a brief soft lockdown for precautionary reasons since it happened in a hallway. The student is now off-campus and there is no threat to the building or any other building in the district. We would like to thank our law enforcement partners and local first responders for their prompt response to this matter this morning.
